Think out loud. ThoughtKeeper keeps it.

Speak freely. ThoughtKeeper turns what you say into tidy notes, puts tasks and reminders where they belong, and answers out loud when you ask what you decided.

How it works

Three ways to use your voice.

  1. 01

    Save a thought

Ramble for a minute or for half an hour. You get a tidy note with a title, a category and the tasks you asked for, with the recording and transcript kept alongside.

“Add a task to call Sam about the logo tomorrow.”

  2. 02

    Talk to it

Ask what you decided, what's on today or what's overdue. Say what to change, and it makes the change with Undo ready.

    “What's on today?”

  3. 03

    Write by voice

Speak, and get clean text in the shape you choose: an email, bullets, or exactly what you said. Copy it, or keep it as a note.

“Hi Sam, thanks for the logo.”

Talk

Ask your notebook. It answers out loud.

Start a conversation and speak naturally. ThoughtKeeper looks through your notes and tasks, replies in a sentence or two, and makes the changes you ask for.

Talk
  1. You: What did I decide about the website?

  2. Looking through your notes

  3. ThoughtKeeper: Keep the pricing simple, with three plans, and use the blue logo. That's from your note this morning.

    Website pricing and logo

  4. You: Remind me to call Sam at 3 tomorrow.

  5. ThoughtKeeper: Done. Call Sam, tomorrow at 3 pm, with a reminder.

  6. Call Sam · Tomorrow 15:00 · Reminder onUndo change
  7. You: Actually, make it Friday.

  8. ThoughtKeeper: Moved to Friday at 3 pm.

Try
  • “What's my week like?”
  • “Move the invoice task to In progress”
  • “Mark the dentist and car tasks done”
  • “Add to my website note: use the blue logo”
  • “Put the dentist in my calendar”
  • “Move that note to Learning”
  • “Undo that”
  • Talk from any page

On a computer, Talk waits in the corner of every page and keeps going as you move around.

  • Hands-free

Say “Hey ThoughtKeeper” in Chrome, Edge or Safari on a computer while ThoughtKeeper is open. Off until you switch it on.

  • Ten voices, three styles

Choose the voice you like, and whether it's Friendly, Witty or Brief.

  • Big changes wait for your yes

Up to five items change straight away. More than that, or renaming a category, waits until you say yes.

  • Morning briefingComing next

One notification a day. Tap it to hear what's ahead.

  • Remembers when you askComing next

Say “remember that…” and it will. Say “forget that…” and it won't.

It can't delete notes or tasks, send messages or phone anyone, and it only looks things up online once you switch Research on.

Features

Notes

Ramble in. Clear notes out.

Record up to 30 minutes at a time, import audio or type. ThoughtKeeper takes out the ums and repeats, keeps your details and wording, and files the note for you.

BusinessRecording and transcript kept
  • The original stays

Every note keeps its recording and transcript, and up to 30 earlier versions.

  • Filed for you

A suggested title, category and tags, each easy to change.

  • Projects and tags

Group notes by project, filter by tag, or split a long ramble into separate notes linked to the original.

  • Safe on your device first

Recordings stay in your browser or phone until they're uploaded, so a dropped connection doesn't lose them.

Your library

Write like you, from what you've said.

ThoughtKeeper spots the stories, lessons and opinions in your notes. Approve the ones you're happy to reuse, and it drafts posts, emails and pages from them, listing every source it used.

  • Nothing is reused without a yes

New notes start private. Approve a note for your writing, for its style, or for neither.

  • Sources on every draft

Each draft lists the approved notes it drew on.

  • Take it with you

Export your approved material as Markdown or JSON.

  • Read aloud in your own voicePlanned

Turn a note or a draft into audio that sounds like you.

Dictation

Speak it. Get it written.

Dictation is in the web app now: speak, pick a format, then copy the text or keep it as a note. A Windows app that types where your cursor is comes next.

Research

Look it up, with the sources shown.

Switch on Research and ThoughtKeeper can search the web, read a page you share or summarise a video from its captions. Every answer lists where it came from, and you can keep it as a note.

Research

Look up how pricing pages show three plans

  1. Searched the web
  2. Searched again for detail
  3. Wrote one answer

Most put the three plans side by side, mark one as the most popular, and keep a short list under each price.

  1. example.com
  2. example.org
  3. example.net
  • Answers with links

Search the web, read a page you share, or summarise a video from its captions. Each answer lists its sources.

  • Bigger questions

Start a longer piece of research: it searches a few times, then writes one answer. Follow along, or cancel it.

  • Ask in Talk

Say “Look up…” or “Search the web for…”, and the reply lists the pages it used.

  • Exact answers

A calculator, plus dates and time zones, worked out exactly.

  • Only your words go out

A web search uses what you asked, never text from your notes. Research stays off until you switch it on.

  • Your filesComing next

Find and open files in the folders you allow, from the Windows app.

  • ConnectionsComing next

Let Claude and other AI tools use your notebook through MCP, with access you can limit and take back.

Privacy

Private unless you say so.

Your notebook is yours. You choose what's saved, what's reused and when it's deleted.

  • Private by default

Your notes are searchable by you, and reused only when you approve them.

  • Conversations aren't recorded

Talk keeps no audio of your conversation. Only the notes and changes you keep are saved.

  • Undo ready

Changes you ask for, by voice or by typing, come with Undo.

  • Delete on your terms

Switch on automatic clean-up after 30, 90 or 365 days, or delete your account and everything in it.

  • Recordings for your ears only

Audio is stored privately and plays only when you're signed in.

  • Encrypted history on your computer

The Windows app keeps dictation history encrypted on your device: 7 days by default, or none at all.

    Coming next
  • You choose where it's processed

In the Windows app, separate settings for where your words are processed and whether the result is saved.

    Coming next
  • Offline transcription

Speech recognition on your own computer, as an experiment in the Windows app until it proves accurate enough on everyday laptops.

Questions

Good to know.

Can I use ThoughtKeeper now?

Yes, if you have an invitation: it's in private beta on the web and Android. Early-access sign-ups for everyone else aren't open yet.

What's the difference between a note, Talk and dictation?

A note keeps what you said, tidied, with the recording. Talk is a conversation: you ask questions and ask for changes. Dictation turns speech into clean text to copy or save, and keeps nothing unless you save it.

Will it act on something I didn't mean?

It acts only on clear requests. “Maybe call Sam” stays a thought; “add a task to call Sam” becomes a task. Words inside imported audio never run as commands, and you can undo what it changes.

Who can see my notes?

Your notes belong to your account, and nobody else using ThoughtKeeper can see them. Nothing is used for drafts or exports until you approve it, and you can delete your account at any time.

Which AI does it use?

OpenAI listens, transcribes and speaks, shapes your dictation, and searches the web when Research is on. Claude, from Anthropic, does the thinking when you talk to it. Their API data policies apply to what they process.

Which devices does it work on?

A web browser on your computer or phone, and the Android app. A Windows app is being tested now, then Mac and iPhone.

Which languages does it understand?

You can choose up to three languages or let it detect them, but it's only been tested in English so far. We'll list each language once it's tested.

Does research look through my notes?

No. A web search is built only from what you asked. Talk still reads your notes to answer questions about them, but their text isn't sent out in a search.

Does it work with my calendar and task apps?

On Android, tasks you choose appear in your phone's own calendar. A connection to Todoist is coming next.

How long can a recording be?

Up to 30 minutes for each voice note, recorded in the app or imported.

Early access
